If you’ve ever wanted to easily allow yourself and/or your members to embed an IMGUR gallery I’ve come up with a quick and easy solution to do just that.

Start by logging into the IPB Admin CP and navigate to: Look & Feel -> Manage Media Tag -> Add Media Tag

Media Replacement Title

Enter a general name for what you want to call this: “imgur gallery”

Media Replacement Match

http://(www.)?imgur.com/a/([\d\w-_]+?)$

Media Replacement HTML

<iframe width="100%" height="550" frameborder="0" src="http://imgur.com/a/$2/embed"></iframe>

This will now auto-embed any imgur gallery links: http://imgur.com/a/PaWcs
Optional
Should you want to leave a link to the gallery below the embedded one you can do so by adding:

<a href="http://www.imgur.com/a/$2" target="_blank">Open Gallery in New Tab</a>

After the iframe code in Media Replacement HTML

Hello. Thank you for this. This works great. I have another requirement if you would want to look into it! I want a regex code for links provided by YouTube subscription mails which redirect to regular YouTube links… I posted it on Stack Overflow: http://stackoverflow.com/q/21069337/586630
